Cann-DO and DankSTA Brands

The Cann-Do and Danksta brand of CBD Products are projects of Green Oil BioFarma, a division of The Green Oil Company, LLC., and were created with its partner non-profit, The Forest Foundation, Inc. Together they share space at the Orange County Eco-Innovation Park (OCEIP) in the Piedmont region of North Carolina. Launched in Fall of 2019, Green Oil is cultivating, producing and marketing high quality canabinoid/cannabidiol, known as CBD products and brands; targeting primarily treatment markets for pain, anxiety, trauma and addiction.

Using a completely novel approach to wellness, this business model is designed to be more holistic and integrative, promoting full, individual service on therapies rather than traditional, drug industry sales models. Focus will be placed on direct to consumer as well as partnerships with existing treatment organizations, focusing an individualized therapeutic approach that may help decouple treatment from the top-heavy, traditional and expensive medical system. By doing so, treatment effectiveness may be improved, be more economically viable, and result in stronger adoption, longer engagement and greater success in lifestyle changes necessary for healthful living.

The Hemp Collaborative is designed to dove-tail Green Oil BioFarma, and will promote a cooperative-style business approach with regional Piedmont farmers. The goal is to help each other through various stages of cultivation, production, and sales by sharing information to gain higher volume and quality product throughout, as well as value add and private label to generate more income. In this way, they can build networks and stave off the impacts of large corporations and hyper competition.

The Collaborative will develop marketing and value-chain techniques that emphasize local farm/farmer supporting business models and incorporate more holistic, life-cycle, and regenerative agricultural approaches. In addition, combining with highly quality products with effective treatment and training may improve chances for longer-term sales relationships and lend to growth and stability. In this way, consumers and farmers alike can participate in a revolution in the health and well being of community and Planet.

quality control

At Green Oil Company we take safety and quality control seriously. Though we are small and lean, we have implemented a growth strategy that is slow and methodical, fits our vision and incorporates our years of experience in science and environmental work.

We start with Standard Operating Procedures in the three area of operations, Cultivation, Production, and Packaging. Our cultivation management program, promotes regenerative agriculture, minimizes inputs, and uses only natural and organic materials, such as organic horse manure and compost tested for pesticides and chemicals, We mark and track each plant in the field, monitoring for growth, nutrients, infestation and disease as well as overall quality, giving individual attention as needed to address any problems. Plant samples are selected for testing during flowering, and when the plants are ready to harvest we track them into our building and begin the drying and curing process under controlled temperatures and humidity.

We then hand sort and trim each plant tracking them into: prime buds for smoke and rosin extraction for full spectrum intermediary, or biomass to CO2, and ethanol extraction for isolate intermediary. Each step along the way has standard operating procedures, and buds and intermediary are sampled and tested. Finally, from the intermediary we mix our final products in a clean room based on our lab results, bottle and package, and statistically sample and test the finished product again.

These are critical SOPs that should be required under supplement or FDA drug regulations. Our prices may be higher than the competitor, but our quality is exceptional, and the margins are needed to pay workers fairly, conserve and protect the Planet, and to guarantee a safe and effective product into the future.
